INTRODUCING OUR LOGO REFRESH

Every now and then, it’s good to “shake up” a design, and that’s exactly what we’ve done with our new refreshed logo.

By including the names of the individual communities (Sapphire, Toxaway and Rosman) that make up the “storied community” of Historic Toxaway, visitors will better identify our particular footprint, and residents of each community can feel a sense of pride and place in this place we call home.

A LITTLE BIT OF SUMMER MAGIC

It’s that time of year – time for the magic of winged things like butterflies and bees, hummingbirds and songbirds, and especially for one of our local favorites: fireflies.

WHAT A TIME: SUMMER CAMP

The COVID epidemic shut down many area summer camps in 2020 and 2021. There was some fear that it would change the industry forever.

Still, it seems that as much as things change, they stay the same — at least based on the quote above from a 1900s-era camp pamphlet!

And the really good news is that this year, Transylvania County camps are back open and offering a wide variety of activities once again. It’s not too late to investigate summer camp for your child (or to plan ahead for next year).
