NEWS FROM THE BUSINESS ALLIANCE
Last year, leadership of the Red Feather Business Alliance passed to a new team of volunteers. This small group has spent the last several months drafting a thoughtful path forward for the Alliance, and we are so excited to begin sharing the results with you as this new season unfolds.
Effective March 1, the Red Feather Business Alliance (RFBA) became the Business Alliance of Upper Transylvania (BAUT). This new name better emphasizes our purpose and identifies our geography.
In addition, the new logo for the organization keeps familiar elements (the original color scheme and our beloved red feather) while adding a new graphic that reflects the natural beauty of our location.
BAUT membership will remain FREE, thanks to the underwriting of our parent, the Historic Toxaway Foundation. Membership is open to any business within the community’s footprint who would like to join us in promoting Upper Transylvania.
We continue to suggest that local businesses explore membership in the Brevard/Transylvania County Chamber of Commerce and/or the Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce, both of which offer regional reach and many useful services and opportunities.
Coming Soon
In the next week or two, we’ll be rolling out a redesigned Business Alliance website, where interested local businesses will be able to submit information for a free listing in the BAUT Member Directory. Members will also have access to a free business forum and member-specific resources.
For questions or more information, please email info@bautc.org. And stay tuned for more exciting developments!
